Tools

A place to keep practising.

Tools for exploring ideas in a class and continuing afterwards. Each one helps you understand how AI works and how to use it at work.

Available

Conversation Monitor

See what a chat sends to an AI model and what comes back. Follow how the conversation grows and what each call costs.

What you’ll practise

Preview the exact request before it is sent. Follow the history and token costs across follow-ups, practise improving a prompt, and compare two recorded calls. Export the session as JSON.

Model Advisor

Describe a work task and get an AI model recommendation, with a short reason why it fits.

What you’ll practise

Answers come from AIdoesAI’s own list of model recommendations, not from a web search. Select the subscriptions you already pay for, and the advisor prefers a model you have when it is good enough for the task.

Starter Kit

Answer a few questions and get a starter-project prompt for your coding harness.

What you’ll practise

The tool turns your answers into a fixed prompt for a small app: one page, one backend fetch, one processing step, and one rendered result. It includes source-access details and keeps secrets out of the prompt.

Access comes with a class.

Participants open the tools from the student workspace. Access is assigned individually.
